Theatre Studies takes you on a creative journey to experiment with conventions, contexts and characters to create theatre that is relevant to you and the world you live in. Explore scripts in a range of theatre styles from pre-modern times to today including Ancient Greek, Elizabethan, Naturalism/Realism, Verbatim, Theatre of the Absurd and Epic Theatre. Practical in nature, you will work as an actor, director and designer to creatively and imaginatively produce theatre for audiences. Study innovations in theatre production from pre-modern and modern era and develop the language needed to participate in the theatre.
